I’m concerned about this new hip “vegan based diet” Micheal Johnson and the kitchen staff has the players on. Just worried as the season goes on these boys won’t be getting enough proper nutrients.
Sonic is open late. #1 CB, tater tots, and a Blast. .

Please be more detailed in your vegan based diet accusation. What is the exact foods and amount of each ingested by each player each day? What is the calorie consumption, amounts of each macro and micronutrient, etc?
If you can't answer the above, then don't worry about it until you have something more concrete to worry about.
Even if you had the above information you would need a lot of knowledge in nutrition science of performance in baseball athletes and the specific goals of each player.

I love the fact that this place allows people with no clue what they are talking about to authoritatively share their idiotic opinions on any subject. It's a blessing...and a curse.

quote:baseball is all about stats. Variables, such as weather impact outcomes of baseball games. For example, the wind blowing in on a cold day impacts the ball, bat pressure, pitching (drag) and ball carry. If you know baseball, you know this and probably wouldn’t have posted this.
Maybe people like yourself who make such ignorant, unfounded comments insulting new posters actually listen to your message and decide to NEVER post again. Take a basic stats class. People need to start expecting more than this kind of simpleton thinking. Your lack of critical thinking skills is embarrassing; go peruse the polly board

I don’t get concerned until we play bad and lose consistently after tax day. Until then just enjoy watching the tigers grow.

Legit concerns about whether this team will ultimately hit enough.
They’re deep and full of tools but it’ll be interesting to see if Jay can find a productive lineup

Lots of vegans in this thread getting reeeeal defensive but you can't argue with the cold hard numbers

I guess the real fault lies in only giving the position players the vegan diet while letting the pitchers go ham on the meat so to speak
