I’m having a hard time getting behind Yorke. He adds tons (pun intended) at the bat and so far his defense seems solid. But he’s such a liability on the base path in front of guys who can fly. He’s got trainers and dietitians available 24/7/365. Can’t he just drop a few pounds??

No way this is legit

If you are being serious, do you have an example?

Not arguing, but which of the 3 are you considering to be good enough to DH?

If there were 8 other guys playing better defense, you could justify Dardar, Braun, or Simpson at DH.

Not there yet with Reaves.

The guy hitting .429 with a 1.400 OPS is going to start 70 games at first base, so you need to get behind that idea.

Is SEC keeping a travel roster size of 27?

NCAA moved to a travel roster size of 34 for post season.
Oh, was not aware of that.

That makes things a little less complicated

Someone else in here said it was 30 for conference play. Allows us even more wiggle room.

I would totally agree with you and that’s why I wouldn’t really group Reaves in with those guys. He’s not good enough to be a DH imo and have shown to be a liability at two multiple different positions.

Reaves was more grouped into the "he can PLAY multiple positions"

If he is playing 2B/3B/LF/RF in spot starts, I don't think he costs us a game.

Do I want him running out there every night? No. But He is capable imo.

I will bet you any amount of money the real list will have more pitchers than hitters.
