The line was 16 or 17 over the summer. Basically they think Bama is a TD better than us right now when you take out home field. If our D doesn't progress between now and then, we won't win. If they do, we have a legit shot. We're gonna score points on them, hopefully our defense can come up big.

I think LSU vs Alabama is going to be a shootout. To win LSU is going to have to outscore Alabama and do the best you can on defense. LSU will need to hope they score more TD’s than Bama as that is gonna be the type of game it will. I don’t think either team can stop the other. Alabama hasn’t demonstrated that they are any better than Florida. LSU had 4 3rd downs against Florida and scored 42 points in 48 plays. Against Bama, whichever team can do the best to try and slowdown the other will win. It will look like a Big 12 game.

They want LSU fans to bet the house on this spread. That will cause it to shrink, possibly dropping to 4-5. That's when Bama homers will jump all over it, balancing it all out. Vegas takes home the juice afterwards.

They had bama -13.5 against us before we beat Florida. If we handle Auburn, I bet its around 7/8 for game time. I expect it to be between -6 and -9 to Bama
