What has Orgeron done to garner such optimism?

-Terrible career record.
-Accumulated most of the little success he’s had as an interim.
-was favored in all games but one ( what was the auburn line ? I forget)this year and found a way to lose 3.
- of the 9 wins , only 2 had winning records
-recruiting class is subpar by LSU standards at this point
-had to have the AD intervene and set him straight on expectations
-mumbles some gravely drivel that gets lapped up like gumbo

Miles was averaging 10 wins a year and only had one less than 9.

LSU is barely in the top 20 and some of you seem quite pleased as though this has been long overdue. It’s really not an improvement .

With LSU blowing out the aggies for the 7th straight yr, bama losing, the weenies losing, ULLLL losing, Thanksgiving, this was a really great wkend. Now the cherry on top is reading all these threads from Coach O haters & laffing as he will be back next yr & the next, etc & there is literally nothing the haters can do about it.

You’re an Edward Orgeron fan. Not so much an LSU fan.

Do you people forget that we tried to get a "reputable" coach? They both turned us down

That’s the point. Why only TWO reputable coaches in consideration???

Florida struck out on Chip Kelly and Scott Frost. They ended up hiring Dan freaking Mullen, who's arguably just as good as either of them. They didn't hire someone that wouldn't get a job anywhere else.

Don't give me this garbage about how there's only two reputable coaches that were available.

Yes it is and.... you made your point by first stating your overall intent.

When TAMU made it 21-27, the broadcast got a shot of O with that deer-in-the-headlights look he gets when something goes horribly wrong.

Don't know if he was reacting to TAMU scoring, or the photo of their QB wearing a Bieber tee in the pre-game?

you do realize there are a LOT of coaches out there that are not Miles or Orgeron.

not wanting O does not equal wanting Les Miles

9-3 Is better than preseason predictions. Most publications had LSU @ 8-4 (4-4 SEC).

Even on this board everyone back in July and August penciled in @ Florida and @ Tennessee as losses, and many dreaded the road game in OXFORD as well!
