I don't think it will. I think Texas is still #1 and LSU is somewhere between 3 and 7. Outside shot at 2 if they win the tournament.

The SECT results doesn't mean squat for the top national seed candidates. Texas included. Now, Texas has also faded down the stretch, so they could potentially slip to #2 based on total of last 3+ weeks, but even that is doubtful.
I think LSU is a top 5 seed no matter what, probably top 3.

It’s a single elimination tournament. The seeding is not reassigned after each game or round. And, the rankings don’t match up with the NCAA.
In the NCAA tournament being the #1 seed doesn’t really have any advantage over the # 8 seed. There are no byes. The 1-8 seeds host the regional and if they win, they host the super regional.

LSU wakes up this morning as #9 in RPI.
That is not the ultimate arbiter of seeding, but it does suggest LSU is closer to not being a top 8 seed than they are to the #1 overall seed.
They really need to beat A&M today or it could get dicey.
