He's a good receiver but we have been bringing in super 1st round talent at WR an he got caught up in the numbers. He could be real good at SLU, a national title contender that throws the ball.

should go to a spread team that throws the ball 50 times a game

Where is Turner on the depth chart now?

I'd rather see him go 1AA since he's already spent so many years off the field.

Just never really seemed to develop enough to break into the line up. Best of luck to him!

he broke his ankle before the 2014 season... tough luck really. many were saying he would have been 3rd or 4th option at WR.

I would think he would have his eyes on schools in Arizona or back in Florida

Classy post, great kid, and best of luck to him! He is tall, great speed, and is an elite athlete, he will do well!

Hoping to SLU...We can use him.

He's a great athlete. He looks the part. And, it sounds like he had his head on straight. Obviously, something else fundamental is missing.

So is this where I say he had "no chest" since we tend to say that about other players that transfer. Or because of who his brother is, is that forbidden?

Do we get a scholly back next year?

point is, guys that usually transfer do so for a reason. Very seldom do they even resurface. He's had literally zero impact here, good luck to him

A walk-on will get that scholly for this year probably. That would open it up again next year for the spot on the 85.

Great athlete doesn't = great football player. Same with "looking the part".
And actually 1 of the things I've heard about Avery is that he isn't always focused on what he's doing. Heard that all the way back when he was playing in the Under Armour All American game... Said he won the "most disappointing playe award" there because he was so inconsistent in both his concentration and effort. Some reps he did it right and looked good, other times he took plays off and wasn't focused. Heard the same about him at LSU to the point where people questioned how much he loves the game of football. Coaches had to constantly stay on him just to get him to give some effort.
A lot of people on here only know him because he's PP brother and expect things from him because of that without knowing anything else about him. Great kid and good athlete and wish him the best, but there's a reason why he was constantly passed up on the depth chart, struggled to get PT, and is now transferring.
