Need to download one the sports betting apps and set up account and knock yourself out. In the process you will see how uncanny Vegas truly is on these lines.

Stuff like this would be like projecting Bama to go 7-5 two years after Saban retires. It’s dumb

Easy money
even in our worst times with Miles we managed 7 regular season wins. Does anybody remember pick 6 Lee and our crap defense in 2008? How about Anthony Jennings and the "no pass" offense of 2014? Ed didn't give a care the last 2 years. Hell he really didn't when he was pretty much fired mid-season last year.

The college football world doesn't really understand just how bad Ed O fricked up to have consecutive non winning seasons at LSU.

Hell I bet them at +6000 to win the SEC championship game. I'll take those odds all day long.

Lsu had the 2nd most players drafted, and went 6-7. It was the worst coaching job at lsu since 1999. Kelly will have to make an effort to suck to do worse

I love the over. Took the over at 8 wins in 2019 and crushed it. Flew t Vegas to put it in at -130. Won $6500

We won 6 games last year with O and terrible culture. Even then we were a play or two away from winning 3 of those. Only got our asses kicked in 3 of them.

We will be at least 8-4.

UAB - W
@A&m - T/U

I could see myself putting UT as a toss up as well.

Ole Miss is going to be hard to stop as usual. Our secondary is so thin.

Bama is just an overmatch at this moment. Probably going to have to get another year's worth of portal guys to be able to win.

Arkansas and Sam Pitman are just a good ball team. They will not be out of many games this year and it should be a very tight race for 2nd in the west at that juncture in the season.

Hard to predict aTm, Jimbo isn't a good coach but it's hard to just completely fall apart with that much talent on the roster. I hope we shellac their asses though.

I'd take the under, all bullshite aside.

FSU - Loss -will be playing 2nd game, returns MUCH more production than LSU

Southern - Win 1

Miss St - Loss - Lsu squeaked by the vaunted Bulldogs last year, Dogs have most of their team back, while LSU is ranked 82nd in returning production.

New Mexico - Win vs a garbage team

Auburn - Win - If you thought 2021 Lsu was a GD shitshow, hold Auburn's beer

Tennessee or however you spell it - Loss - Another middle of the pack SEC school trending upwards. Tons of guys back this year.

Florida - Win - toss up imo, asking for another shoe toss to save you when you don't have it coupled with a kicker anymore... game is away, but I think Lsu steals one this season, and I think it's here.

Ole Piss - Loss - I could see this going either way as well. Ole Miss loses a ton, and Lsu is at home. I think it's unlikely Lsu loses this game and Florida.

Alabama - Loss as always

Arkansas - Loss - Lsu lost in OT last year, and the 9-4 Hogs will be in the same boat with returning players, but the game is away this year.

UAB - Win - They had a 9-4 season, and then everyone got real jobs.

TAMU - Loss - I fully expect Jimbo to use some of that Collective cash to buy off the refs yet again.

I see a lot of close games, to say I think LSU will win five games is tough. I wouldn't be shocked to see seven, but I would be floored to see eight. I don't think teams will be able to run the ball on LSU, at all. I think the front seven will be absurd, and I think pressure packages will have to be used to help the secondary, which is going to be abused if relied upon.

Offensively, I don't know how anyone can be optimistic, and my preseason outlooks typically are. It all starts with the offensive line, and it's going to be rough. Really rough. North Baton Rouge rough. God bless 'em.

Vegas had us at 5.5 2020 and 6.5 2021...

Thought so those years as well

Vegas has been pretty spot on.

Not at all-

Over under was between 6 and 9 depending on the sportsbook in 2019 and I'm pretty sure they were off in 2018 as well.

Nine was projected for 2020 according to Caesars Sportsbook.

Vegas Insider has the win total at 7.5 for this year.

One can complain about the coaching, and justifiably so. But understand that the coach was fired mid season with a subsequent mass exodus. I think a 2 loss team could win the West title this year. I don’t think we have the horses yet to complete for a West title. I’m hopeful we will, but won’t be surprised at a 7-5 record.

You SHOULD start the season 7-0. People think I’m wild for thinking this team can go 9-3 or 10-2. I think we’re gonna surprise a lot of people this season.

Most of the prognosticators remember the Kansas Stats Bowl game, discussions of how few scholarship players LSU had, the 6_7 record. Two years similar. They think it is a long hil l to climb and a brutal schedule. That’s all they see. They don’t see the job that Kelly et al is doing. I think he has done a remarkable job. IMO LSU is going to be way more competitive than most people think. I am looking forward to the season.
