Billy has to much package, great LSU player. Played football on my grandmother's field while he was in school.

Absolutely not. If a SUPER wealthy donor made a super wealthy donation ala TBoone Pickes at OSU then maybe.

No.
LSU has honored him enough for his accomplishments on the field, and his number is formally retired.
I personally would prefer not to name the field after a convicted felon. Perhaps others feel differently. But that was embarrassing to the University.

My bad he hasn’t been removed yet but there is smoke

Definitely SHOULD NOT. Convicted felon...great Tiger...but those 2 do not mix for a stadium naming opportunity.
They have quit naming other buildings on campus for live people for that very reason of potential illegal issues.

Completely agree....Actual throwbacks , not these throwback themed jerseys. I’d like to see them put 20 on all of the helmets too.

We won't have to concern ourselves with him much longer.
We can only hope.

We would have more statues than people in the fourth quarter!

I regret that I only have one up vote to give.

Dumb. But I’d like to see a statue put up now
Posted on 5/20/18 at 3:31 pm to theantiquetiger

They shouldn't name the field. They should name the cannon the ROTC fires before the game "Billy".
