Projected and production are two different things. Yes they do have good talent on the DL, but when they faced competent offenses last year they got gashed on the ground i.e. Louisville, SMU, and Texas.

Currently it feels similar to 2023’s pre-season..tons of hype growing as we inch closer towards fall camp. Hopefully we meet expectations! Excited about our squad for sure.

If LSU loses the playoffs or misses this will be the reason why in my opinion. They're talented in areas but the lack of experience and the brutal day 1 game against Clemson isn't giving me optimism. It's absolutely dumb in this day and age to schedule Clemson or any major game early on when the transfer portal ravages any semblance of team chemistry. The OL is going to be bad for at least the first part of the season and I'd expect the same chemistry wise with all the transfer portal guys.

Precisely. To add, individual talent and pro projection does not a good team make. Colorado supposedly had the best player and best qb in the country last season. Don't recall seeing them in the playoffs. We've had many years of high draft picks and an above average to mediocre football team.
