I think he could be a Devery Henderson 2.0 in the NFL

Henderson consistently made plays as a WR at LSU. Best case scenario Hilton is like Trey Palmer. But even then, Palmer had 30 catches in a season at LSU. Hilton has 38...in FIVE years

That’s insulting to Devery

Hilton is soft. I want to see how reacts to playing with grown men

Catching the ball is generally considered to be of some importance in the NFL

Hilton will stick around in the pros for a while. Guys with his speed and with special teams experience have a tendency to have long careers.

He has less than zero shot of making a roster.

The fact that Nuss got hurt is what cost Chris Hilton his great senior season. He couldn’t throw deep and that’s what Chris excelled in.

He had a plethora of chances, even early this year. Unfortunately he didn’t have much of a chance knowing what we know about Nuss’s condition.

Did he jump before he heard the news?

He has absolutely zero instincts as a WR and bad hands. He’s fast, that’s it.

Speed in the NFL is more beneficial than in college ball.

He’s basically Marquez Valdes-Scantling, he’s good at getting open deep, but flip a coin if he will catch it.

No he's not MVS. MVS received WR2 targets his first 5 or six years in the league.

I want Hilton to be successful. Seeing him play special teams here, makes me want to believe he's bought into that role. He can be an All Pro gunner, and make a great career at it, while being WR5. No knock on him. Best of wishes.

This thread simply serves as a reminder that we have some low football IQ fans on this board. Take off your purple and gold glasses and your disdain for BK. For a guy with his speed, he isn’t that good at getting open either and has ZERO ball skills. He had multiple times to make a difference last year when he returned from injury and had a healthy Nuss and he shite the bed every time. He simply isn’t a football player.

wish him the best. Unfortunately he’s just a fast guy. Has no natural ability to judge a ball in the air etc. You need to have that to be a receiver and really doesn’t need to be coached. Anyone judging him without purple and gold bias will immediately note it.

Perfectly said. He’s a decent track guy playing football. Not a football player.

Speed doesn't mean much if you can't catch the ball.

Bull. He wasn’t used right.
He was a top 100 recruit.
If he went to Ohio state during the same period he probably ends up being a first round pick

He’s more that a deep threat. He should have been targeted consistently.
