Everyone knew Alabama was better than Oklahoma State but ESPN wanted the rematch so badly. It was terrible for the sport.

Minnesota didn’t even play a bowl in 1936 and championships were awarded pre-bowl in those days so the loss shouldn’t factor into the consideration.

1908 is the only one that would be ok but I’m ok with not.
There’s no controversy with our 4 claimed, all major poll, bcs, or playoff champions.
