These are kids, and all they know is to express emotions on social media. I'm sure Kelly had some positive relationships on the team. It's good that there's a few out there.

I don't Kelly is some evil villain like he's been portrayed the last few days. He just has an impersonal style that runs people the wrong way.
Also seems like he might not have had a great work ethic. That pisses me off more than anything.

Good, maybe he can follow him to whatever school he finds himself at.

I hate the revisionism on kelly. He failed as a coach at LSU. Doesnt mean he is also the worst person ever. Lets just let him go and improve without him.

It’s a good thing you’re not cynical.

Positioning himself for Wisconsin when BK takes that job.

I genuinely believe BK’s agent is paying people like Moscona to say nice things about him.

In fairness to Colin Hurley, he’s been at LSU since he was 10 years old. Kelly has had to raise him all those years.

Stop it Lester, people hate the truth.

quote:well considering I never heard about it that would be a very valid point
Because he helped cover up the circumstances of his late night crash?

all of this negative press and rumors are dumb. Look, at the end of the day, he wasn't winning football games and was let go. Nothing else matters.
If he was winning, none of this other crap would have mattered at all. Now, people telling their first hand stuff is fine if they had issues with him or loved him like Hurley, but these hit pieces against a guy fired just come off as sour grapes and rumors.

I'm glad to hear he treated someone well.

I think this just further exposes the character of Hurley and Josh.
Both good guys and probably look at everyone and find the positive in people vs the negative.
Wish I could do more of that myself.

People are going to find something to confirm their bias. Kind or mean, moral or immoral is not relevant. The fact of the matter is that the product was not good enough, and his firing was justified. I think it’s time the rant moves on from him as a person.
