He’s been in position and will continue to grow and learn. He’s the only corner that allows us to play press man. He will only get better.

Yeah that wasn’t great. But every CB that’s ever played, even the best of the best are going to get beat occasionally in 1v1 matchups.

I agree. I’m just saying that’s going to happen a few times a game. He might get there, but he’s not yet on the level of an elite lockdown corner yet. Hopefully he continues to improve and gets to that point.

From the little I’ve seen: He seems to always be in phase with the WR when he’s playing man to man. Some good plays have been made against him however. He also seems like he likes to tackle. I can’t tell how good of a tackler he is yet , but he sticks himself in there. I think he’s one of the best we have for sure

Harris is our best corner but we line him up 7 yards off the ball in zone coverage. He closes better than any DB we have but because our other DB’s are weak he’s stuck in zone a lot.

I think Harris played decently and is getting better. I wish we had another one like him on the other side.

He has gotten noticeably better with each game.

I just wish House would let him press a little.

He’s been generally a pretty average to mediocre corner but that is honestly pretty nice compared to the rest of our corners

He looks good to me. His athleticism is having an effect as he makes ope field tackles and closes on receivers quickly.

He reminds me a little of Greedy Williams and Tre White. Neither of those guys were going to outphysical the big receivers, but they will stay with just about anybody.

Harris makes some mistakes, but people forget that he still doesn’t have a ton of game experience. Considering that, he’s fine and not really the problem. He’s by far the best we have out there.

Hopefully Alexander will get up to speed, but the transition from FCS to P5 has not been smooth for him.

Do you want Perkins to have a bigger impact? If so, more zone is actually better for this defense. Unless you like him having to split out and follow backs out of the backfield all the time.

Well, that was offensive PI that wasn’t called. The receiver stiff armed Harris and Harris got called for PI when he tried to grab on to keep from being separated by the stiff arm.
