I predicted 8-4 with an FSU win and a Bama loss, so that’s a wash, and then an Ark-A&M split. So still on track to finish no worse than 8-4. A 9-3 finish would be fantastic.

I thought 7 wins would be a good season building for the future. 10 wins seemed unrealistic with the rebuild.

I understand that we have proven that we can compete with the best in the country but we are definitely a team that could lose to either Arky or A&M.

I thought we'd be 7-5 and am glad to be proven wrong.
My best guess NOW is we'll be 10-2 or 9-3 at worst. Either is overachieving with this roster, IMO. And, NO, I do not buy that we have the 8th most talented roster in cfb.

I agree with that assessment If I were to give odds:
10-2:65%
9-3: 85%
8-4: 99.9%
7-5: 00.1%
Basically I think its almost impossible for us to go less than 8-4 and I'd say its VERY likely we go 9-3 and really attainable to go 10-2.

I was thinking we would be a 8-4 team if we would've beaten FSU. Two things have gone our way. The team has gelled at a faster pace than I anticipated and the West is not the juggernaut I thought it would be at the beginning of the season.
