A 4-5 year guaranteed contract is not the norm for assistants, even coordinators.

Good for Mike. They got who they wanted, he got a good payday and all we now have to do fill our open spot with a quality candidate. Everyone comes out good

shite when was the last time they even had someone with the upside of a Chris Hilton? Comping the caliber of athlete out wide between the two programs is laughable.
And also no Notre Dame doesn’t have a higher class anymore good try though

Depends on the length the contract. This in no way means 9mill a year.
9million guaranteed over say a 5-6 year deal is perfectly reasonable

Fair, that was probably too much hyperbole on my part just trying to talk up someone who has flashed when healthy to be the next dude up here.
Point being dudes that look and play the part on the outside come through LSU infinitely more frequent than up there and it’s easier to make an offense look elite when you have 1 much less 2 at one time.

God no, but none of these coaches (excluding Saban and Smart) are worth these outrageous amounts (Jimbo, Kelly, and such).
