I don’t care if they skipped every class in the last month, then need to play in two weeks.

Would Saban bench them? No.

How do you know it has anything to do with skipping class?

To be honest the defense looks better without those 2 in the lineup. Sucks for zy Alexander tho hope he isn't out long or injured severely

I don’t know what it is. Whatever it is isn’t as beating Bama

What bothers me about this CB situation is the fact that BK sent McGlothern packing to Arkansas... a year later he took Denver Harris who had behavior issues at A&M.

Honestly not comparable. BK was trying to change a culture. With Harris, the culture had already been established. Call it bad timing or blame Ed O, but this one isn’t on BK.

...how does this even make sense? You come in with a plan to change the culture and a year later you bring in a kid that obviously doesn't fit the culture that youre trying to create.

That’s because they’ve played Auburn and Army

Everyone knew Harris was a risk, the hope was that he had learned his lesson after being benched at aTm and that a short leash would keep him on the right path. That clearly hasn’t worked out.

Chestnut is the bigger head scratcher. I don’t recall hearing much/anything about him as a character risk.

McG wasn't doing the things he was supposed to.

Harris was desperate for another shot and said he'd do anything it took.

Also, BK has said that he thought the culture was good enough in year 2 to take on a project like Harris.

Harris is obviously a head case who can go off the rails at any second. His days of playing football for anyone are numbered unless he has some sort of come to Jesus moment. Chestnut seems to be finished here. We're down to Ryan, Stamps, Welch, and Hughes if Alexander is out like people are saying.

Yeah I’d like to know whoever thought bringing in guys from places like Marshall and Syracuse was thinking.

Yeah but it sucks seeing Fentrell Cypress balling out for FSU, who they got in this portal class.

I explained the difference and you're obviously very invested in your stance...so I'm not going to bother breaking this down for you.

Both were given a chance to shape up or ship out. Mcglothern told Kelly to piss off, Harris told Kelly I'll try

This is a 'very true' statement about not having the foresight to see that the DBs were just so-so!!

My understanding is that McGlothern chose to leave more than BK kicking him off the team. He was told what was expected and he bailed.

Harris was told the same things and was given a short leash. By all accounts, he's not holding up his end of the bargain.

Sometimes establishing a culture requires making an example of someone. Otherwise, people don't respect boundaries and you lose the locker room.

Everyone wants to improve the play in the secondary but the frustration should be pointed at the guys being selfish and letting their team down.

Is BK too controlling? Is it micromanaging the dawg out of these guys?

Fake new. He left before BK got here and didn't play in the Texas Bowl.

Ahead of Tuesday’s bowl game against the Kansas State Wildcats, the LSU Tigers have released their two-deep depth chart for the game. As expected, it shows a pretty depleted roster.

The biggest name not seen on the depth chart is starting cornerback Dwight McGlothern. One can expect he is moving on from the program.

Kelly has been around a long time and has had to deal with challenging head cases. If these guys were not a significant distraction they would be out there
