And somehow still managed to be one of our most consistent pitchers if he wasn’t left in too long. His era was among the top half of the pitchers on the team right up until the very end of the season. I certainly hope we are ready to swing it when we face him because we are going to get 95 with plenty of strikes and a pretty good curve.

Just accept the fact that you didn’t really know anything about him and he’s now been allowed to play for two teams that also happen to both be in the best conference for college baseball.

He’s an SEC caliber pitcher (obviously) being as he’s played on two of them. He is not, however, a pitcher that you want pitching on your team for significant innings if you have a championship on your mind.

Only if that is over the 3 years...he only started 4 this year and he didn't record an out in the last one.

A career 6+ era man you can’t take up for him. Even if you just go off of this season he had a 5.80 era and I don’t want to hear he just had a back couple games to end this season. It is what it is

Are you referring to the guy who walks too many people?

The good news is that he won’t have to face our lineup because he isn’t capable of pitching in the SEC. I hope his new coaches figure that out before it’s too late!

Bruh. You're not allowed to comment after saying he walks to many batters.he walks less batters than any pitcher we've had since he's been here. That doesn't make him good but it proves you don't know what you're talking about

No need to be a dick constantly in this thread. A simple “thanks for your efforts and good luck in the future” for him would have been perfectly fine.

It says that Mainieri had the program in a free fall. I don't care what anybody thinks, Dutton was not a pitcher worthy of wearing an LSU uniform. I'm not saying this because he left, I've said it all season.

Your best hope was when Dutton was pitching that the balls going off the barrels would be hit right at people. He good outings were just that. It's not LSU standard pitching. And you retards can point out certain decent outings, but they didn't happen because he was a good pitcher. He's trash. And I hope he is a starter at Auburn, and he pitches against LSU.

99% of this post was spot on. This statement invalidates everything you said though.

I remember the Coleman/Dutton rotation until Coleman got hurt and Dutton fell off a cliff. So you're literally proving his point that he's a middle of the road pitcher that is inconsistent.
