I’ve got the Disney on plus espn bundle. I’ve started watching everything through Disney plus app. Easier to find lacrosse games and random football games without all the crap the op is talking about.

I had the same issue OP has until espn unlimited and I use the Disney app now and works every time.

I've been dealing with this for every game I've tried to watch this season. I have to log out of my youtube tv account and log back in to be able to watch a game or it orders me to "re-authenticate".
Is there a fix to this? I've deleted and re-installed the app before, and it happens on both TVs in the house (one samsung the other not)

Do you have You Tube tv?
I do & have to re-authenticate every time
Quick Google search shows it happens a lot with YT tv subscribers

I do have youtube tv but it looks like it happens to a lot more providers than just that. Glad I'm not the only one but it's frustrating that it's become an issue this year.

So frustrating. If I watch LSU baseball series, I need to authenticate Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Insanity.

Always and now MLB app is wrapped up in this shite. I HATE that they partnered up.
I live in New Orleans region. I’ve never signed in elsewhere. Yet somehow it doesn’t believe I’m at home at times. Technology was supposed to make things easier. Not more bullshitty.

I have YouTubeTV and yes it's an adventure every time I try to watch a game on my phone's ESPN app.

2 weeks ago when the LSU game ended I went to watch another SEC game & it tried to make me log back in

I ended up cancelling my subscription over it. I tried everything. Reset my tv, uninstalled the app, re-installed it, etc. Still won't work on my tv or on my phone. Phone would tell me I'm blacked out in my area. So I said F off and cancelled my subscription. I only used it during baseball season mostly anyway.

Go to your settings and make sure your TV Provider is set up in the app. I have had at least one weird experience where I had to authenticate a few times, and when I checked, it was not set up properly in my app.
This was shortly after I changed TV providers, and it defaulted back to my previous provider. Once I signed off from the old provider and set up the new one, it didn't do that regularly anymore, though I do think it might if you don't use it on a device for a long time.

The App is pure garbage for Iphone and apple tv. Written several emails to voice my displeasure. They make me re log in every single time. dics.

I’ll never understand why every other streaming app can operate seamlessly without having to re-authenticate/login.
ESPN’s apps and websites are in general terrible though in basically every way.

This, ESPN is the ONLY streaming app I have to re-login every other fricking time it seems like. Highly frustrating
