Jarrett Lee/Jordan Jefferson - let me explain. Both got caught up in the posr-Perrilloux fallout and blamed for it all. JL had every reason to transfer out after '08 but stuck it out and '10 and '11 would look way different without him. JJ has two wins over Saban. Pretty rare feat.

I know it’s recent, but Josh Williams stands out to me since he started out as a walk-on. I know standing next to Daniels helped, but he was a really solid RB in 2023 with a good average YPC. He’s also the best we’ve had in a while in pass pro.
I will never forget the block he laid on that Florida LB that had over 40 lbs on him to free up Daniels for a TD run. He also had the key block on Daniels’ late TD run in the Bama win in 22. He was that guy you knew could get the tough yards or do the dirty work and do it right.
