It was a bad game plans, but Sloan didn't tell nuss to throw into triple/ quadruple coverage multiple times.
Nuss has played himself from a top 10 pick to a late day two or early day 3 pick.

It's hilarious to watch anyone try to gaslight the fan base into thinking the blame lies anywhere other than BK and Sloan.

The 4th down that McElroy literally telestrated right before it was ran
The TE motion guaranteed tell that a running play is coming
2nd and 10 run up the middle, stiff for no gain 40% of the time
Is the oline good? No.
Is Nuss right? No.
Did Baker get out schemed? Yes
Does any of that matter if we have even a basically competent OC? Nope. We win handily.

Should have check routes based on inside/outside leverage or defense showing man but dropping to zone at the snap or vice versa. To answer your question definitively, I can’t answer with certainty that they are running their routes precisely, you’d need their playbook and pay closer attention to the route combos they are running..

is his entire job just to call plays on game day? I think not, he is also coaching the QB on what to do , look for etc. If not, then who is....let's fire him

Kelly cost us a natty in '23 with the wrong DC. He'll cost us another one this year with the wrong OC. He fixed the defensive side by hiring Baker. He's got one more chance to go get the best OC. If he doesn't fire Sloan or makes the wrong hire, go ahead and get out your change jar in order to help buy him out. He deserves one more chance to make the right hire. If not, he can ride off into the sunset with his fam I ly. Brian Kelly was literally trying to go.15-0 and win his natty on the back of Blake Baker and the D. We still came within a few bad breaks and one or two stops on 3rd and long (where, give kiffin credit) he out schemed us on the plays other than when we weren't able to make a tackle on the running QB. Our kryptonite. Frustrating to say the least. But it's a long way to go and I'm hoping and praying that Berry blossoms into our RB we need. Lot's of things to fix, but we can still make the playoff. I've seen stranger things happen. 2001 season comes to mind. We've got a fairly manageable schedule and time to get the offense going. If it's even possible to do so. If we can get to the a&m game with one loss and beat their arse, we're gonna be in the mix for it all. Geaux Tigahs!

Come on man you can’t deny that Sloans offensive scheme is horrible and he has no idea what he wants to do. This offense has no identity and Sloan just continuously throws shite at the wall and hopes it sticks with his play calling. The 2-point conversion attempt play call at the end of the game should give you enough reason as to why Sloan is half to blame of this offensive ineptitude

That is not going to happen.
A year and a half in it is clear that he is not going to run the ball. Whether that is because he cannot run the ball or because he does not want to run the ball, I will leave up to you. But he is not going to run the ball consistently. So we either have to change our scheme or we have to get a new quarterback.

He’s the biggest complaint with Sloan…
We ran 23 plays in the first half not counting the 1 play drive to end the half.
6 drives just over 3 plays per drive. Longest was the touchdown and the interception at 5 plays. The rest were 3 play drives and punt.
There was very little ( I’ll give him a little) creativity.
I watched bama, Georgia run setup plays for deeper in the game. If we did that it was hard to notice. We had the long ground drive but we really didn’t need to run 6 minutes off the clock.

Okay, how about this genius play design by Sloan: On the tipped TD pass to Anderson do you want to explain to me why you have 2 WRs on that side of the field with one undercutting underneath when the ball was intended to go to Green over the top? Explain that design concept to me like I was 5. Because anyone who knows anything about football knows when you throw that ball to Green you're giving the DB covering Nic an opportunity to undercut the ball and intercept it. That entire design concept - whatever the hell it was - is absolutely awful play design. That's just one example. I can name you several others I saw in the game that made no sense.
So to answer your question I have no idea what the hell scheme they're running and clearly the WRs do not either. They sit in the same lanes/zones, you have guys drifting into zones making it harder for Nuss to throw the ball, etc. What's your consistency here? Sloan/BK. The players are clearly confused on what they should be doing and that should be a red flag for you right there.
