A lot of people here can't comprehend that Landry was responsible for getting rid of BOTH Kelly and Woodward. They simply don't get it.

Then again, all you have to do is read the Scoreboard on game night. Hell, during the bowl game there were posters on here actually calling for Blake Baker to be fired. They probably never even thought about how many starters and back-ups weren't even playing in the game.

I don’t know what that is suppose to mean but I said what I said. And it’s my true feelings about everything I believe about life, LSU, The great state of Louisiana, and that gorgeous neighborhood homes close to St Augustine High School.

Can’t downvote this enough

Little lying Landry did not have to spazz out on live TV. He wanted to make this political and that’s a mistake.
He could have been low key about it with the same results.

And fwiw, Kelly was going to be fired no matter what.

It's not really spin it's fact. Political ideologies have evolved and change drastically and have for the two parties since pre-civil war days. It's indisputable.

And the fact is the Southern Democrats of the 50's, 60's and 70's and their children are the republicans today in the deep south.

Still does not change the fact that slave owners and the klan were all democrats. Lincoln, a republican freed the slaves. Yes LBJ turned that around and pretty much made the United States dependent on welfare and food stamps which caused people to switch parties.

Mindset might be everything wrong with planet earth then, because the $$$ seems to agree.

No they aren’t. Woodward fired Kelly and Landry had ZERO to do with it.

Might want to stay in your lane

This whole situation started with Tate. He recognized what was coming with a Landry BOS, so he fled. Fat Scott knew he was the next man up. He somehow figured that by canning BK, he could insulate himself, with being in charge of the next coaching hire. Landry blew plan that up at a presser

Embarrassed Woody then walked away, His bluff was called. This opened the floodgate on Kiffin coming to LSU. He was never even in the discussion as long as Woody was involved. All facts, no guesswork. So the score is now:

Landry 6 (Tate, Kelly. Woody, Carville, JBE influence, Kiffin)

Would you rather win a football game or have successful neurosurgery?

The 334 down voters are also the morons that thought Scott Woodward was a good AD. They prolly wanted LSU to keep BK.

Not that I liked the optics of him being involved so publicly, but you can’t doubt the results. We got our guy and all his guys
