Nothing official yet. Just the tweet - which may have blown the chance to find Stud another position, as is Les's M.O.

What do you think made him finally do it?

CLM had a year of stability. Knowing what needs to be done and having the structural foundation to actually do are entirely different.

CLM has always made the proper coaching moves, but sometimes you don't get to make them exactly when you want too because it may cause more harm than good.

SK gets sick...CLM had to lean on Stud. It was too late in the game to make a new hire. LSU won 13 games, so CLM gave him another year...we fell flat, but wearing 2 hats an argument could be made. CAM comes in and Stud is the only consistency for Cam to lean on and work with in practice and in games. O-line doesn't produce, Cam is comfortable and CLM is comfortable to now make the change.

Good point...I would be rather shocked if Les just kicked him out the door, especially considering that he stepped up and took over the OC duties when Kragthorpe's health problems came up. Yeah, he didn't do a particularly good job, but he was on the staff for seven years.

My dad's buddy, not mine. Don't care if he stays or leaves.

But let's not act like he's had the greatest amount of talented lineman come through here.

You want to blame him for not getting the Robinson's then that's fair game in my opinion.

So is this Ensminger stuff legit or just rumors?

I've been hearing about stud and ensminger leaving for some time now. I think its as legit as the stud rumors before today.

I think he's had plenty to work with and our OLs have consistently under-performed. We've shown signs of dominance at times and others look totally inept. I know in his entire tenure here for the most part our guys have been poor pass blockers. All of which reflect on the coach

Collins was the 5 star #1 OT when he came out, pretty sure the rest of the line is made up of 4 stars.

How old are you people?

Les Miles was born in 1953.

Andy Moeller was born in 1964.

This is accurate. Almost every year of his tenure you could look at the pieces coming back and forecast how great our OL would be the upcoming year. And every year it was lackluster.

Injuries played some part. But the reason they played as big a part as they did was because he only trained one backup at a time.

Imagine if we'd have had a Mizzou 2012 situation one year.
