I wish Ron Polk made an appearance and of course the jokes about Starkvegas!!!
Seriously, Ron talked about the legendary cigar swap and how cheap Skip was. We saw it come to pass with some of the shortcuts in the baseball stadium.

In the ESPN app search for “Hold the Rope”. It let me watch on demand a few minutes ago.

This may sound ridiculous, but Skip reminds me a lot of Phil Jackson. He understood the mental aspect and how crucial it is to success

Wow! What a fun ride! It should have been a mini series. 1 hour isn’t enough

That Tulane team was good in 01

Like Skip said, I literally remember the exact place I was when Warren Morris hit the walk off....
I told the bartender that I would dance on the bar if Morris brought us home... and I did.

Man that was great, but it needed to be about 4 hours longer.

Thats the first time ive ever seen the Pat Garrity hit
Ive even asked about it on here before, looking for audio or video of it. Didnt seem to exist
I remember listening to it on the radio with my dad
I wonder if we can find a longer clip from the makers

How about the stupid fricking kid who rubs skips head at the basketball game. How about you respect a legend you loser.

I saw several throughout the episode do it even starting in the 80's. I bet he didn't mind at all.

That Friday night game was amazing. I miss the legit LSU and Tulane rivalry.

My band was working that night in Monroe, but I missed sound check. No way I was walking away from that game. Insane!

The speech they said he gave before the A&M game sounded amazing "There pitcher is 15-0 with a 6.50 era he sucks" lol

Great show! Warren Morris will always give me goose bumps and teary eyes.
To top it off, he’s a terrific guy to this day.

The follow up was the stats on winning percentage and the fact that we had Ben McDonald who wasn’t going to lose.
Ben story - He was a high school senior and they brought him in to umpiring clinics to help train the umps on what 95 looked like with that knee buckling curve.

The show was awesome. I wish it would have aired a few weeks sooner so I could have shared it with my brother-in-law who left us in April. He would have watched it over and over again. He loved LSU. I know he was watching from above.

It was good to see Trey Hodges. He pitched lights out during the 2000 CWS and got the save in the championship game. He went on to pitch for the Braves but I believe a nerve injury ended his pitching career.

Yeah, that’s what I think. Too much information to shove into less than an hour. It was a very broad overview.
