If there is one thing that venables is good at its defense. They will be tough to score on

They clearly coach better on defense than we do

They beat Bama 24-3 and held Jalen Milroe to 7 yards rushing on 15 carries.

7 yards rushing. That's about what Milroe has averaged per carry against LSU the last two years,

If LSU plays another "Heads in the Air" game, they'll get beat...........

Other than Oklahoma City there isn’t really much to say about Oklahoma. Wouldn’t live there for dang sure

Venables might be the best defensive mind in the country. Big reason why Clemson has not been as good since he left.

OU has their top 5 receivers lost for the year, against Bama we lost the 6th receiver (broken ankle). We're left with a couple of freshman and a walk-on. Added to that 2-3 top O-linemen are out hurt, and that unit has struggled all year.
Our D is for real but the Offense has to extend drives to keep the D from getting worn out. Several of the Bama posters said that OU's D-line was the best in the SEC. The edge rushers and LBs are excellent
Turnover margin has killed OU all season but if we hold on to the ball we'll be a challenge for your guys
We whipped Bama in every phase of the game but playing at your place will be tough. Be gentle we're nice folks

Their front 7 is legit, a little weak in the secondary. If we can protect Nuss, think we should be able put up enough points for the W. If OU dominates the interior OL like UF did, it’s going to be tough and OU will have a great chance to win.

Solid defense and freshman QB who can run.

Bad combo for LSU

Yep the Offense has been a disaster but the D has been excellent if given any chance to stay fresh. When the O keeps going 3 and out the D wears down in the second half.

Their QB is exactly the kind that has given us trouble this year.
Their defense is good.
So I’d say that they aren’t a gimme for us. But if we could figure out how to defend a read option, we should be alright.

Their defense is very good. It is even more impressive that they have done as well as they have against good offenses while having a terrible offense themselves.

I expect it to be a tough game for us. Pressure on Nuss = No bueno.

Against Bama we only attempted 11 passes and 4 of those were shovel passes. Our O-line blew Bama off the line of scrimmage and ran it down their throat. Our last possession was at 7 minutes left in the 4th qtr and Bama never touched the ball again
