Wish they would play in Mobile every other year. I think the last 20 + games have been in Baton Rouge.

I don't think I've heard anyone refer to USA as anything other than South here in bham. Sister went to school there not too long ago and It's what we've always called them

LSU fans Are the same toward ULL and Tulane

The opposite is actually true. The athletic admin tries to steer away from the use of "USA" and embraces the use of South. University admin embraces either moniker.

Time for you to buy some purple and gold and join the good guys. Sounds like you are halfway there now.

USA admin doesn't like calling them "South" but most older folks (like me) still do.
The Athletic Department has embraced the name “South” for the program. A lot of the football coaches shirts and team gear use the script “South” logo. Looks good honestly. The last coach before he left for Bama DC made embracing the city a focus. They had helmets with the battleship on them and others with the Mobile skyline. South football is in a good place now. Hopefully Applewhite keeps the offense hit and stays a while.

Remember those regionals in the 90s, they always had tough teams.

That's fair. For all of Louisiana's problems, we still have a state pride. We want to uplift our state. Sad Bama won't play in state schools.
You have a great day. A bad night later maybe lol, but a great day.

This is funny considering South plays Auburn next year…
