We HAVE been there. But if the field gets stormed why does it bother some folks so much?

Serious question, is the only downside to storming the field that opposing fanbases will mock you for doing it on TD and social media?

Per OUR HEAD COACH
“It's not something you enjoy, let's put it that way. You love the fact you won the game and you love the fact people are celebrating an incredible victory. But the implications of what has to happen next is they're rushing you off the field and it, quite frankly, is unsettling.”

That doesn't answer the question.

A 3 loss bama is not worth storming the field

Are you insinuating that you'd be embarrassed if it happens?

If so, why? Who are you worried about making fun of it/you?

Who runs the LSU football program?
There’s your answer. I can’t help if you actually think that everything is fun and the ADHD society can’t focus on what’s important besides their own immediate needs without considering the impact to others.

Lol holy shite... you're the one who needs help.

Stick to your Nolan Ryan threw 110mph fastball takes.

This is sad my guy.

It's drunk people having fun because it's one of the few times they can act childish without judgment

And yet most Americans, not just Bible beaters, are offended by such behavior. In some cases it has led to costly outcomes, including replacing goalposts and ripped up turf. Not to mention personal injuries and personal crimes.

IMO $100K isn't a severe enough penalty for this mayhem. Make it a million

The only aspect I don't like about it is having to pay Alabama $500k for storming the field.

Why does this matter?

It doesn’t.

But here’s a fun fact: Tennessee storming the field on Saturday was the ninth consecutive time the field was stormed following an Alabama loss on the road.

The last time a fanbase did not storm the field after a Bama loss on the road was 2010 in Baton Rouge.

I would love to see the police summons each person as they leave the lower bowl after storming the field. Then when the SEC fines the school, those that stormed can pay the fine.

Some of us don't like the idea of giving Alabama a million bucks.

I'll never understand people that are anti storm the field. Most are young people just trying to have fun. Let them be and mind your business.
