I'm gonna talk so much shite if it's Vitello.

There's going to be a glut of orange Vitello jerseys at the Knoxville thrift stores.

If he comes to LSU I plan to get a LSU Vitello Jersey and start wearing it around Knoxville immediately.

Arky will be available in 5 no matter where he is. Not relevant.

It's one of the reasons we don't need to be looking for a short-term program "caretaker". We need the long term guy now.

If true, TV will get to pick which place he wants.
UT vs LSU

Which one would you choose if you were a college baseball coach?

Well this is not EXACTLY what the decision is. Im sure TV would choose LSU 100/100 from the outside. But he currently is at Tennessee. Hes been there for 4 seasons. He has loyalties and such there. There is the known vs. the unknown.

And so will Vandy. Very relevant. He can stay put and have good options in 5 years. More options than he currently has.

My point is that he would have options no matter where he goes. I don’t think Arky or Vandy is off the table just because he comes here. But I think we are fricked completely if he doesn’t. Vitello at Vandy is my nightmare.

This is why I want him at LSU now. Get him in love with this place.

He’s on at least his third athletic director since he’s been there.

It can't be any worse than it was for Texas. The guy they've got now was their 10th choice. Anybody and everybody said no to them.

It was never LSU. Pretty sure it was Pepperdine or something else with a P.

ETA: It was Penn

Their targets were unrealstic at the time. They went after Schlossnagle, Pat Casey, Tim Corbin, and Paul Mainieri. Sclossnagle had just gone to Omaha 4 straight years. Pat Casey had a special needs child in Oregon making a move difficult at the time, not to mention it would have been a pretty lateral move for him. Corbin had just won a national titles a couple years prior. And we all know Paul turned them down. Texas always does this. They don't just go after big fish. They go after big fish that aren't even realistic. It would be like Georgia looking for a coach and their targets being Nick Saban and Dabo Swinney, which is the same shite they did thinking they would simply outspend Alabama because they're Texas and land Nick Saban.

I will after they’re done with the CWS. My wife is a Tenn alum, so the logo isn’t entirely just to troll people (that’s more of an added benefit).

We went to the game yesterday. My first time getting to go to Omaha.

Wouldn't hate a trip report. You obviously weren't in GA outfield which I highly recommend at least once.

I could give a very detailed report on the hold em table at the Council Bluffs Horseshoe. We probably spent more time there than any other location.
