There are some lightweight, soft as a roll of Charmin sissies in this fanbase. LSU will do everything they can to keep Boutte in purple and gold, but at the end of the day, they can't force him to stay here. Would be great to keep him here, but either way, we will be fine with the group of receivers we have.

He said he was reporting to LSU in the spring and would see how that went.
meaning, he's thinking about transferring. If Bama was the rumor, and he's liking tweets when Bama gets commits, it's more than likely that he's been talking about the possibility of going to Bama to somebody.

Remember the Ohio St shite with Ricks last year then later we get "confirmation" that that never happened. We'll low and behold less than a year later, Ohio St comes back up as where he's trying to go (they said no though). Why Ohio St immediately again instead of some other elite place? That tells me the shite back then was definitely true, but he was talked out of it.

I'm already prepared to get the "Boutte has entered the transfer portal" notification. He's dominated with poor QB play for almost 2 years, yet now it's different because the coach changes? If he goes, oh well, LSU has a great group without him. Despite the failings of LSU's QBs and OL, 12 of the 29 TD passes came in the last 6 games, with 4 games being vs ranked SEC teams. He's elite as hell, but LSU will be fine.

The answer to that is LSU has taken positive and concrete steps to replace chaos with stability. We've hired a proven, experienced HC. We have attacked weak spots in our organization to make the football athlete's experience second to none. It may take time, but once you have a system in place, a program can have stability and get better every year.

In 8 months the Gumps will be screaming that they didn't have room for him.

It was rumored here in the past 2 weeks that bama had asked him not to announce his transfer till after NSD so as to not scare away any current WR recruits. His recent quote re "through Spring ball" is asinine & mean nothing re him staying. Certainly it's his choice but there is no other way to look at it, if he transfers to bama, this would be a huge loss on 2 levels, i.e. it hurts LSU & helps bama.

He’s going to face all of those things whether he stays at LSU or transfers.

If he leaves what is everybody gonna do about it..shoot yourself?.. deal with it.. no one but Boutte can make that decision and NO ONE else can control it… let it go and play out.. if it’s not Boutte @ LSU then it will be someone else.. LSU is known for great WR’s.. he’s only ONE of them..he has one more year to play and he is gone to the NFL..

Basically what Boutte is implying is that he'll go through spring training and see if our offense, oline and quarterback, are going to be capable of getting him the ball. He wants to have a good final season where he can showcase his skills and it seems he'd rather it be at LSU if possible.

If he wants to go so be it. Nothing you can do, but cheer on LSU tigers.
