I think LSU uses the hat pitchcomm.
Last year, Jones wore the wrist band. Not sure if the defenders can have the earpieces. I know another school (maybe low level D1 or an even lower level) had illegal ear pieces in helmets a couple years ago, so they probably limit that to some extent.
I'm now focusing on our position players wrists more than I am the game

i know thats tradition but with pitch on

you has to find someone who can:
Throw guys out
block
recover
frame
HIT
and then hope they’re smart and good at calling pitches?
maybe it’s all gameplan it just seems like you could hire someone to do that as their job in the dugout.
