I posted earlier, if he wins the job, you have your guy for the next 2-3 years. If he gets beat out, you have him learning under LK and Weis and he’s probably your starter the following year.
The fact that he’s will to come in without a guaranteed job says a lot about him.

Yes, love this, He is a good QB. He throws darts, throws long passes, runs crazy all over the field. Don't be surprised if he is starter after Kiffin and QB coach are done with him.

Well he chose between Michigan, JMU (playoff team), and another SEC team besides LSU. Nobody really cares where he came from. If he started for LSU this season we would have been better because he could of at least scrambled for first downs instead of going three and out all the time with a QB that couldn’t run.

I should have said we are bringing him in to be the backup. If we go into fall camp with him as QB1, it will mean that the staff has failed miserably.

QB is the one position that you shouldn't put much stock into star ratings as most "5 stars" flame out or never live up to the rating.
