There were blown assignments and missed tackles everywhere. Baker wasn’t perfect by any means, but he can’t play the game for them. And these are players who HAVE executed in many pressure situations this season.
The defense got out-played for most of the game. They never matched Vandy’s level of intensity and that was a problem on some key plays that extended drives and lead to scores. If you are the DC, what do you call to counter guys making mistakes?
If you want to criticize Baker- not pulling Perkins either for a backup or by moving to a Nickle with no Star was a bad decision with how much he struggled all game. He definitely deserves criticism for that.

Yea, it sucks. It's where we're at though. This team just isn't good. Maybe they need to break out the 1-0 shirts again for next week.

You need a duel threat QB to win in the SEC these days like JD. Either that or an elite pocket QB like JB was. Nussmeier is neither of those. Not his fault.
