You can't brag that you were sub .500 vs top 50 defenses. That's not a good thing
For real. If anything, this just made me more confident that LSU beats the tar out of your team.

Never heard of allot? What position did he play?

Your telling me they can just snap their fingers and make that up right out the gate?
yet you will conclude your entirely new starting 7 are young fast and athletic? But if we suggest the highest touted recruit in the nation may be 'young fast and athletic' that is a stretch?
So if we are playing that game - tell me about how many catches your starting receivers have? How about throws your safety, er I mean starting QB has made?

Defense we play great defenses all of the time.

So if I was a LSU fan I would be worried about Wisc you have no clue what you are getting in too.
Unlike you, we have a habit of playing good OOC teams. And unlike you, when we do we have a habit of beating them. For example, you may recall teams like Oregon and TCU (not that I think TCU is good, but simply good enough to beat you - like they did). We waltzed by these squads - you lost to them. We haven't lost an OOC regular season game in 11 years and I am not sure if you guys have played a decent OOC team in 11 years.
The Wisky formula is simple. Massive solid OLine and good RBs that just overmatch and destroy inferior talented teams. Throw any speed at you (even if it is a pathetic OSU D like last year) and good night.
Ending the season, your D couldn't stop anything (and yes having Penn State march at will constitutes anything). Your O was net 13 pts against Minny, 24 against PSU (with 10 in garbage time), and net 17 against USC. I know that makes me shake lol.

Gotcha, your 12. My apologies - enjoy your birthday biclycle.

First point LSU is very young on offense you lost allot of production:
Going into 2014 LSU will lost:
348 of 523 rush attempts
296 of 326 pass attempts
170 of 205 receptions
32-36 KO returns
19-23 P returns
Yeah, it's not like we can't put someone else out there in those spots. The guys that produced those numbers were nobodies at one time too. Did you not see how many guys we sent to the NFL after only the year before doing the same thing? Do you think LSU's NFL talent level recruiting just shut down or something? Did you not see what aTm's new QB did last night

Wisconsin is a poor man's LSU. Everything you do, we do better against significantly stiffer competition, mind you. May the best team win this Saturday, and I can say with a high degree of certainty that it will be us.

Ah, let him have a little fun. After 8:00 p.m. CDT tomorrow, the fun will be over for him and the rest of the cheeseheads.

So I have been trolling your board and have been shaking my head. LSU fans have a serious homer complex going. Some of the stuff said on here just makes me laugh. Stuff like Wis is too white and slow. Come Saturday you will be throwing stuff and screaming at the TV you are watching. This will be a game that might decide LSU's fate for the whole season. They will come out of this game win or lose feeling battered and bruised
Yes we have homerism on this site but so do you.

That is obvious we know this.
1) two untested QBs
2) we lost a great RB.
3) we lost two of the best WR we have ever had.
But
1) we bring in one of the best recruiting classes in the history of this school.
2) we have a young running back some people compare to Adrian Peterson.
3) we have one of the most physical and talented offensive lines in the country. I heard you guys are young up front on D. I don't care how many you blitz if you can win on the line we will move the ball.

Last season we played:
Ari St rank 27th,
Penn St rank 29th,
Ohio St rank 39th,
Iowa rank 49th,
Minn rank 33th,
BYU rank 3rd,
South Car rank 11th...
Rankings are overrated, LSU will be one of the most physical and talented defenses you will face all year. We are young up front with a lot of potential. Our LB and secondary are amount the best in the country. We will likely pack the box and force your young QB to beat our talented secondary.

You make some good points. Here's where you went wrong:
An LSU defense that's ranked 5th is waaaaaayy better than a BYU defense that's ranked 3rd. The quality of competition is what makes the difference. You guys think Ohio State is tough? We play about seven Ohio States. And we play two or three teams that would absolutely cream Ohio State.
These are the facts:
1. LSU is a much more talented team than Wisconsin.
2. Wisconsin is typically a high character, tough team. And LSU will probably be beat up pretty good by game's end. So will Wisconsin.
3. It's possible that Wisconsin could win. I'll put the odds at 20%. That's significant odds. It's opening weekend; everyone will be trying to find themselves; we're starting a wild card at QB; maybe we'll be unable to hold up in the middle of our defense; and maybe we'll turn the ball over too much. But all of those things will have to happen for Wisconsin to win, in my opinion.
Most likely outcome: LSU 31 Wisky 17 - and it's 31-10 with five minutes left.

I don't know what you are talking about. That BYU defense was clearly 3rd best in the country. Their defensive line had...umm...that guy who tackles. Don't even get me started on their secondary...one (maybe two) word/s... ballhawks

The stat lines for the QBs for the last four teams to beat LSU. If Wisconsin thinks they can line up with Gordon and run it down the Tigers throat to victory, they are wrong.
14 for 20 with 179 yards (3 TDs & 0 INTs)
30 for 39 with 346 yards (0TDs & 0 INTs)
20 for 34 with 298 yards (4 TDs & 1 INT)
36 for 50 with 346 yards (2 TDs & 0 INT)
Bottom line, Wisconsin does not have the QB play to beat LSU. Period. Go eat some cheese curds you pasty SOB.
