I do not believe that Tennessee and Vandy, who currently lead the SEC, are gonna end up on top. Still probably gonna be Carolina at maybe 14-2 with LSU at 13-3.
I think LSU will lose to Texass in Austin on Feb 5 and the Feb 14 game versus Carolina is 50-50.
LSU needs to absolutely win all the SEC games versus teams not named Texas and Carolina. Those late season losses at Bama and OMiss at home hurt us last season, IMO.
The goal is to get LSU seeded as far away from UConn as possible.

When was the last time LSU BEAT South Carolina?

20-20 FT is awesome. Wish they could do that every game.

And 22 assists! That's well-nigh unheard of!

Yeah, if we can pass like tonight, instead of the forced individual plays, we have a real shot

Yes. They will be #1 overall. Getting the 8th overall seed (the last #2) or the 9th overall (the first #3) would be the seed of death as far as getting to a Final Four for anyone.

I mean I don’t want UConn in the e8 or s16. But at the ff? I’d love to play them.

Well shite. I missed the game because I thought it was tomorrow night. Interesting stats for Grace, 19 points and no rebounds.

You missed a minute and a half of competitive basketball.
LSU completely dominated.

She had 1, but yeah. On the other hand, Joyner had had a double-double, scoring 11 with 11 rebounds, including 6 offensive boards.

LSU was favored by 30 for a reason, A&M is really bad .
Bench players got a lot of minutes which was good to see .

They weren’t ready for SEC play the first two games because of the weak non con schedule.
I still don't think readiness had anything to do with it. They played with poor effort on the boards against Kentucky, which is all attitude. Playing a tougher non conference schedule isn't going to make you play with better effort; you have to want to play hard. Then, against Vandy, they outplayed that team in every category but turnovers. That's just making mental mistakes. Veteran players, who have tons of experience playing in big games, were just throwing the ball around carelessly.
I've seen LSU play games like that deep into conference play. The fact that it happened immediately at the start of conference play this year, just played right into the narrative that people wanted to complain about, but I don't think it had anything to do with the weak schedule.
They went into Duke's home court, a team that was struggling but talented, got punched in the mouth early, and responded by blowing them out, anyway. That should have been the "wake up call". For whatever reason, they didn't have the focus they needed in those first two SEC games, and that's something that can happen at any time if you let your guard down. They still almost won both of those games.

2012. The She-Cocks have won 12 straight.
