He left because he does not like the NIL/transfer environment. That environment hasn’t changed.
Plus, he was self aware to recognize his style of play/roster development is not ideal for this era

The only reason anyone even cares about basketball is if the football program begins to suck.

right but the difference is the women are much worse so they don't get the same contract. people enjoy claiming that the women are fundamentally more sound, or better shooters etc. none of that is true, they are playing at mens middle school level. so they get far fewer viewers and their tv ratings far worse.
but we pretend they are awesome and pay their coach like they are not losing millions.
I would prefer that money went to buying mens players
