You know how many 12 year olds ive seen that were studs and way ahead of their peers....but that changes as they got older. I remember a 13 year old that led his high-school to a state championship....we thought he would be a superstar. He didnt improve.

Yup ! I posted about Snoozy under LSU Recruiting / Little League World Series .
I was impressed with his poise , movement on the ball and accuracy . And he’s a Lefty .
I think he struck out 14 kids in a row . Not bad !!

256 pitches in 14 days in early August. His season started in April. Kid is gonna have TJ surgery before college.

That is absolute insanity
These kids are way too big to be playing these dimensions. Mound needs to be further, bases need to be further, etc..

Real one to watch is Ian Davis. He will be a freshman at St. Thomas Moore this year. 14 years old and has been as high as 93 on the radar.

What happened to the kid from Louisiana that broke the LL WS batting records back in 2019? He should be starting college this fall.

Clearly you need to be an MLB scout.

Reece Roussel committed to play for Centenary College. Marshall Louque committed to LSU. Injured his elbow this past Spring and underwent TJ surgery. He’s at LSUE to rehab his elbow and to work on his INF position skills. LSU is holding a spot for Louque once he’s healthy and ready to play at the SEC level. Next year the roster shrinks from 40 to 34. Louque (and other players) have a better shot at making the roster if they can play multiple positions besides just pitching.

I remember we thought the same thing about a kid named Max Johnson.

I know that name. From high school, I think. Remind me. Did he play for Howell?

He needs a better name than that to be an elite prospect.

His name was the whole reason for the OP in the first place

Max Snoozy? Does he sleep 12 hours a day?

There was a 12 yr old that was like 5'11" 235 lbs. He used to hit balls 310+, 100+ ft over the fence. Everyone thought he was great, but he just hit puberty super early. He ended up never even getting a community college offer.
