Still, with all of the miscues in secondary, we will be tested.

With our starters (even missing Jay ward), we had one miscue in the secondary.

we covered crossing routes and receivers out of the backfield very well. Leach loves that stuff.

Good luck going vertical against any of our top 4 CBs now that Mcglothern is back.

UCLA is bad, too.
So let's hope there is no hurricane that puts them in hotels for a week ahead of the game. Let's also hope to not have coordinators on both sides of the ball calling their first game. Well that one really can't happen anymore.

We should not have a problem with them. I’m glad we drew them in our first SEC game. I think outside of Vandy they are the worst SEC team

They were bad last year too. We just made them look a lot better than what they were.

Their defense is pretty good but the book is out on how to slow down their offense. Hopefully we read it this time.

Those freaking cow bells should be outlawed, most ridiculous advantage given to a nobody SEC team

I agree. Unless someone is born with a cowbell on their arm, that’s an artificial noise maker. Time to ban them again.

They were bad last year. Can you honestly say LSU is not bad?

Complete and utter bad call on punt return that cost them the game.

They were losing the game and Memphis had all the momentum in the world at that point. Why anyone thinks without that call it’s a lock that state wins is beyond me

That pic from weadbus is exactly what I saw and is that not control ? I mean hand on ball knee down ?? what am I missing... besides the ref throwing beanbag and waving Both Arms Over his head albeit briefly ??

We are in no position to judge other teams at the moment.

You are missing that watching it in real time the state guy touches the ball for less than a second and the ball is still moving after he “downed” it. It looks way worse with a still image vs watching the video

BTW I’m not sure what the college rule reads, but the NFL rule states the ball is either downed when the kicking team possesses the ball or when the official whistles the play dead. The official never blew a whistle, and the ball was still moving after the state player touched it for a split second so I don’t believe either of those conditions were met.

Now the ref did mess up with the arm wave, but the Memphis player had already picked up the ball and was running when the official started the arm wave. At that point it was a live ball, and if they blow the play dead then they screw Memphis out of a TD

I wouldn't say they're "bad" but we should definitely be 5-1 when the Gators come to town

We are their super bowl. I have MSU family and they always want to beat LSU bad. I think more than ole miss the past few years.

Just bc a ref raised his arm doesn’t mean the ball was not live. Maybe you need to learn the rules and the game. The Memphis player knew the rules and knew at the worst they would get the ball where he picked it up.
