Best conditioned team quote may be misleading. The comment was more about percentage of people passing the fitness test first try. You can call it coach speak or whatever you want but it wasnt a blanket statement of "this is the best conditioned team" that we hear over and over.
Either way Moffitt is a great guy and this was a fun listen

What do you think he's going to say? I suck at my job and our players aren't well conditioned???
I ignore nearly everything any coach says, either off-season on in-season. It's all fluff.
Only a very few speak honestly and are worth listening to (Spurrier, Leach)

Honestly though, what is he supposed to say? He can't say last years team was better. He can't say the team 10 years ago was better. This is coach/leader speak. Next years team will be the "best conditioned" team he's ever had also.

there are too many people right now that are so triggered by the fact that Orgeron is the coach that they refuse to believe anything good can possibly happen with anything related to the football program. They will literally spin absolutely anything into a negative. I don't even like Orgeron, but some people have completely lost their minds over him being the coach. It's also as if some people would rather see the program burn to the ground than us have a good season this year. And the sad part is it's more about them being proven right about Orgeron being bad than anything else.

I get accused of being a Cheerio in this board. Now I'm triggered because he's the coach? It's coach speak man. It may not be conditioning every year, but there's some kind of cheerleading every year. It's what every coach does.
