If players are using the BLM garbage as an excuse to leave, then let them go! O handled that situation fine. These young kids need to learn that not everything in life is going to be sugar and cookies. They're going to be quitting the rest of their life if they think everything is going to be done the way they want things done!

Didn’t Saban come out and straight up say “All Lives Matter”?
No he did a BLM video with his players.

I read the article.
The article confirms what I surmised months ago - the problems on the LSU football team are Political in nature.
The players have been politicized. They now believe in a cause more dear to them than LSU football, and that cause is a political cause.
Once your team becomes political activists instead of athletes, you no longer have a team. In LSU football's case - you may not even have a football program.
Politics and politicization. These are Revolutionary times. Enjoy witnessing History.

Long as they don’t complain and don’t annoy people.

Beating the piss out of Brooks Kubena is easily gonna be one of the top 3 things O does when he eventually gets canned

I probably won't witness much of it if this continues to be where athletics heads.

In the article, Cox specifically says that whatever issues occurred over the summer have been resolved, and that the situation would be completely different if the team were 8-0.

That’s hard to believe but if so, it’s got Ryan Clark all over it.

Comparing the protest situation at LSU and other schools is not a fair comparison.
LSU’s players were one of the first to start marching around their campus. It didn’t go well here, and the media was all over it. Then the following week, about 4-6 days later, other teams in the SEC followed suit and of course their full of shite coaches ran right out in front looking for the cameras “hey guys, look at me walking with my players!”
Ridiculous.

Yeah that's why the players organized a March without O knowing. Nothing to see here.
The good news is that the culture of the players out there now will destroy it all. They have done it in nba, doing it in nfl, and college will fall too...
I love sports...but actually look forward to these thugs destroying their livelihood.

leave it to the shrimp boat captain who prides himself on being a recruiting guru and relating to the kids to mess this one up

There is nothing in that article that even suggests more players are leaving.

Saban probably handled the situation as a whole better than O. He’s an experienced program builder who knows how to manage his players. O just copies and pastes shite from Pete Carroll.
One big difference in all this and - this is my opinion only.
If as is reported, they skipped practice to march without telling O...O had a right to be upset about that, now what was said and done in the meeting afterward we can only speculate.
The big difference IMHO is - the players never would have skipped practice without telling Saban.

But you're destroying their narrative that this is all about politics, and it's not their politics.
