Might want to look at reed in big moments in big games. He was always clutch.

I've watched since the 60's and I'll tell you what it is. Landry is tied for number 1 with Eric Martin. I'll never forget EMs catch against Nebraska - three Cornhuskers hit him so hard his shoe was knocked off, and he still caught it - ONE HANDED. He was slower than Landry but bigger and stronger. Like Landry he caught everything. Which one is better? You can't make a wrong answer. Many on here said Josh Reed. Not a bad answer either. We have had some heroic WRs, man!

Landry really doesn't stretch the field. neither did Jerry Rice. He just caught everything that was thrown in his direction.
Did you watch Rice? In his first years in the NFL he was routinely five yards behind the coverage. Dude was fast. He was one of the greatest of all time, and no, Landry is not another Jerry Rice!

It's hard to Peg the "best WR ever" tag. I'd say I've never seen better hands than Landry. That includes Clayton and reed. However if I had to choose which all time great I'd like to have it would have to be Reed. He was just an incredible route runner with stick em hands. Difference is Landry is just more athletic.

Landry is a tough over the middle route runner, Josh Reed was ALWAYS wide open!

Bowe could be considered the best because of his NFL career I know he wasn't the best when he was here but he has had a very good career at the chiefs.

Were you even around to watch him play,
yes I was, sorry to disagree with you, but I would have to go with Landry

I'd have said Wendell Davis before yesterday.
We can argue about career productivity, and no one will come close to Reed again.
But I'll say that i've never seen a guy in purple and gold w/ that combination of hands that just found his way to the ball -- through traffic, around defenders, skying, diving -- sensational

I would take Landry over all others. While Reed put up the numbers, he NEVER made the type of catches Landry has made.

And as everyone knows, acrobatic catches are more important than anything.

Dwayne Bowe was and still is a
Beast. Landry could eclipse him though?

Won't say it is Landry's level, but the catch Reed made in the back of the end zone in the Peach Bowl was money. Still not sure how he got the foot down.

Not trolling.
Rohan Davey threw the ball much more than Mett has this year.
I know Reed's stats are other wordly, but I really feel Landry is just as good.

This. People on here either don't remember what Reed did at LSU or they're trolling. You don't remember acrobatic catches from Reed bc he was always so open. Like I said earlier. Rohan could have kicked the ball to Reed... That's how open he was. Landry can catch but man Reed was unreal statistically and never dropped passes. Reed rewrote history. Like someone said earlier, not by LSU standards by conference standards.

I am not being hyperbolic when I say that Landry is the best receiver we've ever had.
No you're just being wrong.
