I think he wants to win. He has just made a succession of horrible staff hires which points to his coaching ability.

But it is part of his record. That’s like saying a team had 200 yard rushing, but half of that came on two long running plays. It counts.

It’s Vandy and he’s winning big time games, beating SEC teams now regularly. They didn’t do this with Cutler.

Is it Lea or is it Jerry Kill, or Kill+Pavia?

Lea had two 2-10 years at Vandy before Kill's arrival.

Which is why you don’t give a 10 year contract. How did these contracts get to this point? It does not make any sense.

Fire Kelly and promote Baker to interim HC, if he makes a difference he has a chance to keep the job. If not, Baker is gone at the end of the year and we won’t feel bad for not keeping him. Not sure how long we keep Sloan but he gets a chance w/o Kelly keeping him in check.

Cignetti is 63 I believe. Not realistic at that age. I don’t believe LSU is making that mistake again. Maybe if Saban comes out of retirement.

Napier was young and hungry

Napier appears to have not worked out. However, he hasn’t destroyed the Gators for a generation, and his buyout is $30 million less than Kelly’s. Florida can easily go that route and take another shot at a mid major up and comer.

Saban and sexton... period. After Saban got the dynasty rolling cfb coaching became an arms race and his contract was the standard

Just look at the 40 year old Jay Johnson. That should sum it all up.

I’ll never understand the obsession that some fans have with youthful hires. Is it sex appeal?

You don’t hand the keys to a ride like LSU to someone that doesn’t have enough experience to have caused a few gray hairs and wrinkles.

You might have a chance if you hadn't just told him the same thing a couple years ago to pay O's buyout and hire Kelly.

We're reading the exact same things from the exact same people who got rid of O and paid 10x more for what we have now.

That's the current price to put up with LSUFan. The next guy will demand even more.
