That’s crazy. Daniels was estimated to be 4.4-4.5 and top end 21.8mph!

This has always been an underrated aspect about him. For some reason there is a significant portion of the fan base who thinks he’s average mobility or even worse.

I don’t really buy that he’s a 4.5 guy at all but I do think people underestimate how much the thin depth chart we had at QB last year played into him not running or having plays drawn up for him to run or pull the ball.

In today's college and nfl a qb should pick up easy yards when he has the chance. There were many times Nuss could've done that. There is a reason he literally says he has to better at it this year. When a qb refuses to do that many people see it as he doesn't believe he can pick up those yards. Hence he doesn't believe he is mobile enough so the fans think it too... thats not being a hater...

It's because there were times he flat out refused to pick up easy yards with his legs last year. Normally when a qb refuses to run its because he can't.
