What you are saying is only true in retrospect. If Nuss was injured (which is still an "if" considering the denials from both him and Kelly during the season), then why would you not rest him for the cupcake games?

Even if you do not have a diagnosis it at worst that gives him time to heal; at best, it gives him time to get a diagnosis.

I'm not going to crap on MVB because he looked pretty damn good at MSU versus good competition and he had the same line Nuss had this year which was NO LINE. In case you didn't notice, like Nuss, he was running for his life too much or having to throw screens/sideline passes just to get the ball out in a hurry. Couple that with no running game or blocking, hell, WHO would have looked good back there?

Then he alone should have sat until ready.

Does anyone actually know what the mysterious, extremely rare, 4 month long, hard to find but easily fixable abdominal injury actually was?

The bigger issue is not having a HC or OC who could adjust.

Considering his agent is Trace Armstrong, I would find this highly unlikely.

That’s exactly the reason. Armstrong is also BK’s agent. I tried to tell y’all this a while back. Nuss’ NIL was tied to him playing.

Could this not just be damage control by Nuss?

Easy to blame an injury now hinting that the unlikeable Kelly is responsible for playing him because everyone hates Kelly, anyway.

He must have been required to start a certain number of games to get paid. Once he hit that target, he shut it down.

And that injury started a butterfly effect for the program. If he doesn’t get hurt we don’t have LK right now

Perhaps. But I'm inclined to think the offense was going to suck anyway because Sloan was still the play caller/designer

With knowing the injury as fact now from fall camp it was amazing to see the oc call for a deep throw to start the southeastern game

That was Tech.

Against SELU we started with the famous 7 yard backwards pass for a loss that we ran so many times.

seeing talk that Garrett Nussmeier could rise in the draft.

If you need a guy to work the short side of the field inside of the numbers then he is your guy I guess

That’s why come out and say you have an injury instead of looking like shite and hiding it. Fans understand injuries

Well, how about run the fricking ball a bit more, especially against cupcakes?

This shite goes so deep with shitty decision after shitty decision.

We couldn't run the ball against the cupcakes. Tech kept stuffing us up the middle.

This is the main reason, the Sloan decision is what did BK in.
