- Cam Johnson has thrown 19.1 innings this season but only one since 3/9. His last outing vs UT Arlington on 3/18 was a disaster (1 IP, 2H, 3R, 3ER, 4BB, 1K, 1HBP). Assume he's hurt.

I'll go 2/3 LSU
Tough to sweep on the road and cooler weather Sat might negate some offense

Oklahoma's starting pitching is top of the line in the SEC.
I dont really agree with this at this point.
Cam Johnson was their 3rd starter and he seems to be out at this point. M. Witherspoon has been touched up bad in 2 of his 3 SEC games. Kyson is obviously very good but even he got touched a little in 2 of his 3 starts. Their JUCO lefty stepping in for Johnson did well against USC and Bama but got destroyed by MSU.
It's generally just tough on college pitchers nowadays though. Even Liam Doyle at Tennessee has gotten crushed in SEC play in 2 games.

Kyson Witherspoon will be the best travel ball name we have seen
FYI, OU also players named:
Gavyn
Easton
Dayton Tockey (hitting .301 mind you)
Two flavors of Jackson (Jackson and Jaxon)
Ryley (spelled with a "y")
Dawson
Berkeley
They are a TBN (travel ball name) HoF waiting to explode.

When I posted I should not of used "top of the line" but their starters have really good stuff and are experienced (I'm not counting Johnson...he's terrible).

OU has an average complex FYI. Its the smallest stadium in the SEC with only 3,100. Yall were saying Texas' field was tiny, its 2.5 the size.
They do have a damn good team

In his last 12 batters he's faced, he's only managed to get 3 of them out.
We tried to warn some of their fans last year.

Cam was actually doing much better up until a few weeks ago, not sure what happened, maybe he lost his mechanics again. I'm certainly glad he hasnt gotten it figured out with us heading there to play them. Leading up to the season what little local talk of baseball they have were hyping him up pretty well saying they had the best rotation in the SEC/college baseball because he was their Sunday guy and unhittable, and had much better control now, etc...

Damn. They need to step it up. That makes Tennessee’s HS stadium seem big.

Their park is on the bigger side - 335 to the foul poles 411 to dead center. It's nice for pitchers, not a huge park but none of these 310 or 320 foot foul poles and 390 foot dead center like some other SEC parks.

We should be able to mash. State imo has a better staff than OU

JJ is known for Bare Knuckles fighting, he is not good with knives.

He hasn't been as surgical as he was at Barbe.

- Landon Victorian from Barbe (recall the name but don't recall the specifics but he may have been committed to us at one time). He's only pitched in 1 game (vs TX Southern)
He was committed to us before the pulling of knife incident against his coach. LSU pulled the offer. I hope he pitches against us.

I like playing in big parks. I feel like it's an advantage for us because most of the Homer's we hit aren't close to being outs. When bear or ambidde or Dickenson or Frey gets ahold of one it's going 400 usually.
Bear can easily go straight away center at 411

The only guys we have that hit Homer's that lack power to go super deep is milam and curial but they could pull one or even go oppo in most parks. I don't think they could hit one 410 to dead center though

If Alabama can beat Witherspoon then LSU can too
