That's what happens when you pay an out of touch senior citizen more than one of the best recruiters in the nation. Should've never happened.

Salary for each LSU coach.

I'm almost in disbelief that Cregg and Sullivan are being paid more than Raymond.

I’ll take things that are unrelated and irrelevant for $1000 Alex.

Seems like a huge snake move to tell Stingley and his parents you’re going to be his position coach (#1 reason he signed with us) then interview with another school 3 weeks after he signs. If it’s a $$$ thing do it behind closed doors

It happens all the time.

How would coaches ever be able to recruit effectively if they were 100% candid about their career aspirations?

Part time work he enjoys doing. Being a full time college coach is a different ball game, especially having to recruit,it’s a grind

You checked nfl rosters for dbs lately?

You realize Raymond didn't coach most of them and recruited even fewer of them

P Paterson - nope
Mattieu - nope
Reid - nope
Claiborne - nope

I think some of our fans think Raymond and Cooper are the same person and he's been here for 10 years. Raymond got here in 2012. Our fans thought the sky was falling when Cooper left for the NFL. And now they think the sky is falling because Raymond is rumored to be merely talking to another school. At the end of the day, Raymond did not create DBU. It was doing fine before he got here and it will be fine when he's gone. People need to relax. I will never understand why some people have to freak out at least once a week about something.

What's so ridiculous about what he said? Do you honestly think any of the assistants outside OC/DC deserve to get paid more than Raymond? If you ask me he should be getting paid more the Ensminger too because he's the second best coach on the staff behind Aranda. O should be donating his check to Raymond and Aranda.

Meh, that's your opinion. They decided to pay Sullivan, a man that didn't recruit a lick, more than Raymond. If I were him I'd feel some kind of way about that. It's not about the money, it's about the lack of respect it implies.

I think it's clear that the man feels underappreciated if he's willing to make a lateral move. Someone else starts saying all the right things and it's alluring I'm sure.

White
Mills
Adams
Jackson

Both Cooper and Raymond helped build the DBU moniker.

Why is he going on an interview if he's happy where he is?

I'm guessing you recreationally interview for jobs?

You think he wouldn't be make a move if LSU doesn't pony up more money?

Dissatisfaction with salary counts as not being happy with your current situation.

He’s one of, if not the, highest paid DB coach in the nation.

At least see if LSU works something out with him

I understand that BigJ but I think Clark would jump on it. I think he wants it honestly.

I remember he answered a question from someone on twitter asking him last year and he said he’d love to be LSUs DB coach one day

Ensminger is a terrible OC and O should've never been the HC at LSU. All he's done is put a staff together of senior citizens who have one foot in the grave to mentor him.

He's done a really piss poor job getting coaches at LSU. Busch is his best hire. He ran Canada off. Sullivan/Jenkins had no business coaching here they're old and done. Ensminger had no business being OC(I have no problem with him being on staff just not OC). Juluke(sp?)? Joseph and Robinson. Joseph is not a good coach but his recruiting finally came around this past year. Robinson is a waste of an assistant slot. Our OL coach is debatable can't really judge him in 1 year but Oline was weak link. Meatball didn't exactly have a great dline this year and it has kinda underwhelmed under O.

Forgive me if I have no confidence O will make the right hire when Busch/Raymond leave. For all you saying the moniker existed before Raymond got here what were you saying about LSU's dline-U moniker before it went thorough several shitty coaches and is now a distant past in the memory at this point? Pay the guy. Do what it takes to make him happy. He's more deserving than most on the staff that can't be debated.
