In a way they should be relieved, usually OM waits until November to shite away their dream season, this year the dream only got to live until mid October

How exactly?

They haven’t beaten anyone really in his time there. He doesn’t recruit well. He’s had the advantage of one of the weakest schedules in the SEC until this year. Prior to this year, he was gifted 6 wins per season almost guaranteed. Their biggest rival MS State has been a shite show for awhile now and I don’t see that fixing itself anytime soon. LSU has had historically bad defenses for awhile now which plays right in to Kiffins only redeeming quality as an offensive play caller. They have been spending more money than they ever have as a program for what is essentially only slightly better results.

I just don’t get this infatuation some people have with Kiffin. Are there worse head coaches out there? Absolutely. But he’s not a top tier head coach by any stretch. He’s middle of the pack as far as head coaching goes.

Rev you’re wrong Coach Kelly is already on probation for a bunch of buffoons in our fanbase. Winningest current coach in the college game who has produced winners everywhere he has coached. You people who want an NC every other year are delusional, even more so with parity resulting from NIL. Based on what has already occurred almost every SEC game is going to be a battle

I thought it'd be a 50/50 game. Once they were up 7 with the ball 4th quarter, I thought we were screwed.

Hard to say that walking into the stadium. However, I said to Mrs 6r12 that I always feel we have a chance to win ANY game we play.

The only time I knew we would win was when Burrow , Bert Jones , Flynn or Tommy Hodson was QB.

This game exposed who Kiffin is. That is a whiny arrogant coach who is a high level offensive play caller but cannot fully manage a team. Throw in their wild offseason buying players and their complete lack of success since the 60’s and you get ole miss. They’ve never been relevant and their fans need to accept that they never will. Even miss state made Atlanta during the 92-23 sec expanded phase. The 2003 banner in their stadium is a complete joke. LSU will always be a superior program and ole miss fans should accept reality.

This is why the majority of their fans are so pissed.

They know that Kiffin went out and basically brought in a bunch of mercenaries for a one and done season.

Whether folks thought this or not, we would be DEFCON 5 just like them had we lost.

I’m gonna be that guy.

DEFCON 5 is the LEAST severe alert
DEFCON 1 is the MOST severe alert

While I’m at it, it’s not “could care less”.
It’s “couldn’t care less” in case you misuse those as well.

Carry on.

I NEVER expect to lose to OM. I don't care if they're ranked higher or we're the underdog... OM is little brother. Rushing the field should never happen against little brother.

You'll get downvotes, but i was one of the select few that NEVER believed LSU was losing to Ole Miss. I've been saying it everywhere since i realized that we were celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the Stadium. I had Ole Miss fans going at me left and right because of that.

I took in EVERYTHING about both teams. I paid attention to both teams' situations, recent history, traditional history of the matchup, etc. Josh Pate had us winning, i think 1-2 LSU beat writers and sports hosts had us winning, and maybe 1-2 other national media guys. Hell even the money was being put on Ole Miss during the day and i think it had gotten up to 4.5.

You're like me. The amount of pussies i saw resigned to an Ole Miss win was truly baffling. Even LSU news reporters. How do you have dven more access to info than i do in some spots, and still think that?

He better go while he is still a hot commodity.
He'll finish no worse than 9-3. If they beat UGA, 10-2. Ole Miss has a damn good team. Personally i expected LSU to win by more and us not winning by more makes that point even more clear seeing just how much they had going against them in this game. Sometimes i don't agree with Pate, but it seemed like me and him were the only ones thinking in sync on this.

And they haven't lost players for the year. Harrris will be healthy vs UGA and DL Princely will too.

Would be the dumbest thing Florida could do, but then, they did hire Napier. Kiffin, despite the fascination by many on this site, has NEVER won anywhere he has been, as a head coach. What is this, his fifth stop as head coach?
