Will Davis?

Will knows his shite. I think he was born to be a baseball coach. He's probably got a ways to go before getting into some bigger shoes

Good point. Maybe enough would do the trick.

Great move, now it's Javi's turn. As a hitting coach he's laughable, just look at our team hitting and as a third base coach don't even get me started. PM was able to "nut up" with the Grewe situation now he's got to do the same with Sanchez. His loyalty will eventually cost him his job.

I don't think that Javi will be going anywhere. At the least he will be kept as a way to "buy one more year" next year if the team does not come around.

That may be true, but he is a terrible communicator when he tries to explain something to the players. He talks in circles in between "ah's" and "uh's."

But he is a very nice guy. Just not an effective leader as a coach.

So is Javi sort of the baseball equivalant of Gary Crowton--a coach that was allowed to remain a year or two longer than he should have & certainly longer than the fan base wanted?

No way he would take the cut in pay he'd have to endure.

I was told a few weeks ago that Grewe was gone, and the same source said that Sanchez will be relieved of his duties as hitting coach but will be kept around as a Recruiting Coordinator. Guess I'm starting to believe that story. Time will tell.

Here is what I dont get about Grewe..

Someone said KG came here because of him.. But I dont see how.. Why would any pitcher come to LSU because of Grewe? It has to be because he sold LSU not himself. Grewe's experience as a pitching coach is pretty pathetic. He developed nobody and took some decent pitcher and let them fall apart. How can any pitching coach with their future on the line look at his bio and say I want this guy to develop me?

They dont.. But they look at that big billboard in right field and the fans and the atmosphere and THATS why they come despite his short shite history as a pitching coach.
