We need better players, it’s that simple… huge difference between the talent level at Florida and LSU. The size of the players is dramatic.. they have no skinny 5’2 110 kids on that bench

It's disgusting. LSU started out conference play at 6-1, and they're 3-9 since then. I don't see how Beth can survive this season unless there's a drastic directional shift beginning tomorrow.

If they win a regional, she will be fine. If they host and lose, you might be on to something. I think we win a regional, like we did last year, just because we won't face anyone nearly as tough as the SEC gauntlet
It is frustrating how they have pissed away a chance at being a top 8 seed the last 2 years after starting hot.. I said going into the Texas stretch that they needed to go 5-7 in league play the rest of the way to be top-8. Right now they are 1-6 in that stretch.
If there is going to be a turnaround it must start tomorrow. Berzon needs to come out and shove her best outing up Florida's arse.
A sliver of hope--we beat SC 11-3 in game one, then lost the next 2. The reverse of that can happen if we are up to it

It truly is the same shite, different year with Beth. Start out hot and fade down the stretch. If the pitching is good, the hitting is bad. Now that we're hitting the ball better, pitching has fallen off a cliff. She can't put a complete team together.

Maybe it’s just me but I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Beth throw so much shade at the pitching after the game.

My thoughts, exactly! Beth comes in each year with the fancy Cadillac and for the first part of the season, against light competition, it looks like the best ride on the road. Then we get to the SEC and the Cadillac loses its' luster, starts to sputter and choke and all of a sudden, we realize...this car ain't shite!

Beth is convinced she owns the job and I’m now resigned to the fact that Scott is okay with that. I’m sure her hand was forced behind the scenes to jettison Leftwich and Dobson.
Dobson did not leave here for some high powered job. Leftwich is 26-26 and 7-17 in the ACC at NCST. It wouldn’t surprise me if Beth pushed to bring her back on board after she gets fired at NCST, but my guess is, the Wolfpack are fine with having any warm body to be the head coach they can pay minimum wage just to keep the program existing, even in the cellar.

Leftwich is the person that single-handedly destroyed the softball program. She recruited the worse freshmen class in the sec and her hitting instruction was pathetic garbage. Her recruits are so bad I’m not sure they could play at Tennessee Tech!! If Beth doesn’t pull a Brian Kelly and cleanse the roster and add 7-10 new players she will be fired soon. I told everybody this wasn’t a SEC roster and the worse roster in her tenure and the backups especially the 4 Freshmen minus Heavener are flat out horrible.

Leftwich’s main project here was her Billy Graham crusades. The NCST job came along at the right time and I’m sure LL would have remained in her comfy spot here had Beth’s hand not been forced behind the scenes. I am sure she is making a little less, maybe the same, or possibly just a little bit more as HC up there than she was making as an assistant at LSU.

Coaches that are social warriors and believe in DEI and have no courage to do what it takes to win at this level will be fired..timing is the only variable

She is the most protected lsu coach for never winning anything.

One issue that stands out is the team’s lack of attention to basic outfield coaching, particularly in how players handle line drives or balls hit over their heads. Having played college baseball, I recall practicing about 17 outfield drills, including one focused on the initial drop step and proper approach to line drives to the left, right, or over the fielder’s head. However, it’s evident that some players on this team take a “banana” route—curving inefficiently toward the ball—often missing catches by mere inches. Laneaux struggles the most with this. It’s clear these players lack fundamental outfield coaching, which should be standard at this level. Some players who played travel ball likely received this training and have these skills ingrained, as seen with Briggs last year. Her polished outfield play likely stemmed from travel ball coaching, but this approach seems noticeably absent in Laneaux’s performance.
