Happy to see Money emerging as a leader on the staff. Reyzelman also looks be taking on that role. Both stay very engaged throughout games, in between innings, etc.

Merrifield is gonna hit. He hit over .400 for 2 years in a row at Eunice. He obviously may not hit over .400 here but that's a pretty good sample size on top of what we've already seen to believe he'll hit well here. He's gonna be an important part of the bottom of the order. I just wish he'd either get more comfy at 3B or Jay would make the swap with him and Cade. Defensive struggles can sometimes bleed over to the plate.

Merrifield has been solid at 3rd. I don't recall him making any errors.
Thompson has been terrible with 5 damn errors so far.
Doughty has struggled a bit, especially with his turns at 2nd.

Merrifield looked really good at 3B against Maine, but has struggled since, whether the box score shows it or not. I’m certainly not writing any of our infielders off where they are, but they’ve all played in a bit of a panic.

It’s fine exactly how it is replay shouldn’t be needed much at all in baseball they just need a few more cameras for when it is needed

There should never be a question of whether a guy is out or not at first.
It’s jsut too easy to just have dedicated cameras for the bases.
My point was it’s a slippery slope argument because you can definitely remove the human element from officiating baseball.
