You should be banned for spreading complete BS. I get it, you posted what would most likely be said on the rant about everything and you think it was funny. But, with the way people responded to you and you responded back like you were there should be the entire reason you should be banned. Clearly you did not go to the scrimmage, like everybody else on this board because it was a closed scrimmage and anybody who claims they were needs to provide solid proof (video or multiple pictures), so all you are doing while responding to people who are stupid enough to believe you is spreading BS.

Would you feel any better if he said "We really stunk it up today. Couldn't block or tackle. Quarterback is a wreck. We may need to look for a walk-on for some help."?

Tell me what coach doesn't give bullshite answers about spring or fall practice? Would you prefer he acted like a surly asshat like you know who?

It's practice. We're talking about practice.

Oh yeah, tell what the genius Elmer Fudd used to say. "We threw the ball well. " Then ol' Les would pick some guy buried on the depth chart and act like he was the next All American. Same shite, different day and different coach speak.

This is the way I responded back to people jackass.

No no no, not at all. Probably a bad statement to put in a sarcastic post. White has every chance to be the best player on the team and an all conference player. That's just one of the stock answers that we get.

Seriously? A ban? People say stupid shite on here all of the time, but that was probably the dumbest thing ever.

People offer opinions that are controversial all the time , however, you claimed that you were at the scrimmage and flat out lied. That is what not cool.

I would love to see a quote where I said I was at the scrimmage. Good luck.

Like I said in a post last week. Everything you hear from every HC on every team in spring practice is nothing but spin. A lot of it is to mentally manipulate players who are in a competition. Look at all the buzz about Damien Lewis... do you think Cushenberry is not busting his arse to hold on to his job. The remainder is recruiting hype.

spin spin spin...

Take it for what it is and quit yer bitchin

That's a good point and I pretty much said some of the same things in a later post in this thread. If he can have some success this year, I think people will back off being aggravated at his sales pitch style in the off season. Right now though, it's hard to trust what he's saying. And as you said, a lot of coaches do that, he just hasn't had much success yet and that's why he gets shite on message boards.

If Shelving and Fehoku (sp) are as good as advertised and teamed up with Lawrence and Alexander then White can be in line for an enormous tackle stat line.

This post literally infuriates me haha. Not only were you wrong, you said “your more like a dumb arse”.

If you’re going to call someone a dumbass, don’t fricking use the wrong “your”.

I think O goes a little overboard with the sales pitch sometimes and then later it makes him come across as a liar

I think I disagree with this but will have to wait and see.

Now Les Miles' practice reports were classic. "The WR's had close to 300 yards receiving, the RB's had a bit over 200 yards rushing and showed the want for more, the QB broke off two long runs, offense scored 3 or 4 TD's. The defense is ahead of the offense at this time and only gave up 50 total yards and no TD's".

Now, why I think I disagree with your premise is Eaux's comments during the season last year. When the kickers sucked, which they DID, he said they sucked. Went as far as to say he was going to get another one during the offseason, which he did.

At first I thought his comments were to motivate the kickers to do better but now I don't think so. They missed 3 extra points and gave up 36 free points on the year.

So while some coaches pump sunshine and aren't completely honest to protect the players in the case of the kickers Eaux certainly didn't play that game.

I couldn't agree more about Miles. No one lied more about practice and off season than him. He just had some success, so I think a lot of people write it off. The stuff that got to me about O last year was how much he propped up the offense and how good of a job Canada was doing and has since made some comments that are similar.

I think your wait and see attitude is the right one. It was his year as full time coach here and he was trying to sell his team. If he has success this year doing it with the guys he wanted on staff, smart asses like me won't make sarcastic posts about him anymore. Just the jackasses will.

Whatever the may be, it's got to be different without a super stud RB to lean on.

What was Brennan's scrimmage weight?

What's he at now? (Hopefully, around 210)

Yes.

I prefer a coach that exaggerates how much they need to improve over one that exaggerates how well everything's going. The latter is called blowing smoke up our arses.

I don't want to hear in the season all the issues we had before that point when he didn't frame it that way.

His weight is around 195 now, but here he is training.

We look forward to him being about 210 by the first game, eating lightning and crapping thunder.
