It's a shame that fans have to be encouraged to support the team they choose to follow.

6-2 in SEC his first year
Why didn't you include his total record? Is it because 6-2 looks better than 9-4?

good recruiting class
Objectively well below average, as far as LSU is concerned.

pulled in the QB transfer we've been wanting for years
He got Burreaux to sign, that's true. But whether he ends up being anything other than serviceable remains to be seen.

BLOWOUT win over a ranked team
Good job, we shall see how Miami ends up at the end of the season

shut out victory against FCS team
Marked by the consistently poor offensive performance LSU fans have come to know so well, and that O swore he would change.

Give him a chance
Going on two and a half years on the job, can you please define "a chance"?

Thanks for the pep talk but we’ve never stopped supporting them despite the problems that might concern us.

Next time you have an angry thought about LSU, how about you just send an email to Alleva or someone on the BOD. would have way more of an impact than you just venting on a blog, and would minimize the "sky is falling" shite threads from this website
It's a message board. If you can't tolerate opinions that are different than your own, maybe try the Dandy Don Sunshine Pages. DD may be more compatible with your "Rosy Alice in Wonderland" mentality.

Really, it is horribly shitty to make the players suffer because you disapprove of the AD and/or the coaches. They read this site. They had no control over the coaches/AD. They do, however, go out every day and sweat their balls off trying to make a competitive team. How do you think THEY feel reading this shite day after day?
You frickers might want to think of someone else beside yourselves and your own expectations. Y'all suck! It's disgusting.
This is funny because the vast majority of the people you see on here throwing players under the bus are those who will do anything to prop up O

They voluntarily signed to play at LSU, knowing the huge expectations and pressure.
You don't think they can handle some legit criticism of their coaches?

I thought the talking points were that they could not get motivated to play SLU this weekend. Might want to check back with the fearless leader.

We all support this team. That doesn't mean we can't be concerned about the direction of the program. TRUE FANS do both.

We have no chance to win?
I have not seen anyone say this. Many, including myself and Vegas, do think we are the underdogs here, based on performance.

Well he's 10-4 in conference if you want to include his interim year when the program was in chaos. Missing Charles for the southeastern game is kind of a big deal, it shuffled our thin line around even more. Miami will be formidable at worst this season. I guess 1.5 seasons is enough, let's buy out his contract and bring in Willie Taggart. Do you actually watch football?

Maybe they shouldn't. If they choose to do so I am sure they do with the full knowledge that coaches and players are being criticized and praised on the site. Its not like they google LSU football and suddenly find their way here. Repeatedly.
Moreover, I am quite sure that the members of the football team are not offended by what a lot of non-players say on here. If they are that sensitive they are likely to go in timid and soft and it is a lost cause anyway.

If missing one player on offense for the SLU game is a big deal we can pack it in now. The talent difference between our second string and their starters should not be close.

Not a Taggart fan. But would love to go after someone with a mind for offense.
ETA: Glad you agree that we need a change at the top!

So, having concerns about the football program, the LSU offense, and the coaching staff means I'm making the players suffer? I'm confused.

It's easy, really. He thinks the players need a safe space to protect them from all of the mean people in the world. Every other college group has one, why not football players?

Not sure what your point is. Sounds like you are saying the tigers are doomed no matter what happens b/c CEO is terrible. Should we even field a team? What will you say when they win on Saturday?
Posted on 9/11/18 at 5:25 pm to oOoLsUtIgErSoOo
Having concerns is quite different than spewing a bunch of crap out of your pie hole every day.
But being right is all that matters to a lot of you. Spread your misery around day after day. Does it make you feel powerful?
Cheer for the team you profess to care about and let the coaching take care of itself.

I understand. Reading comprehension is not your strong point. I never said the Tigers were doomed, Coach O or otherwise. I do think O is not the right coach for the job. But that was not a subject of the post you replied to.
Let's try this again. In the post you are replying to I said missing one offensive lineman should not cause the offense to suffer when playing a far inferior team such as SLU. I was replying to a post that said that missing Charles was a big deal. While missing Charles would be a big deal playing a team of equal talent, LSU should beat SLU without having to rely on all of its weapons.
The rest of the post you replied to merely made fun of a post you made before.
Sorry for the length of this post, but you did request an explanation.

People like you bring this program down.

Please show me a post that you consider that wasn't my talking about a concern, and was "spewing a bunch of crap out of your pie hole every day."
I'll wait for your response, but it won't come.
